**Also, stay tuned because at the bottom, I will tell you how to get October’s box for free!**
In case you aren’t familiar, Love with Food is a monthly subscription box company that delivers organic, all-natural, hard-to-find gourmet snacks.
For every box sold, Love with Food donates a meal to several food banks to help combat childhood hunger, such as the Feeding America Network and Share Our Strength – No Kid Hungry.
Each month, Love with Food subscribers receive a box curated to a specific theme usually with 8 or more snacks. The September box theme this month was “Spice Up Your Life”. The information pamphlet explains that the items in this month’s box are intended for box subscribers to kick things up a notch and add a little spice to our life.
Love with Food has a reward point system. One way you can receive reward points is to review the snacks you received in your monthly box. You can redeem your points to purchase snacks in the Love with Food website shop.
Way Better Snacks: Simply So Sweet Chili Tortilla Chips– Box fave! Oh these tasted good. My girls thought they were a little spicy, but I didn’t pick up on that. Maybe I’ve killed off too many taste buds with my devotion to spicy foods over the years? Anyway, these are Gluten-Free, Non- GMO, and Vegan.
Fogg City Spice Co: Lemon Rosemary Seasoning– If I’m going to be completely honest with my review, I’d have to say that receiving seasonings in snack boxes is not my favorite. If I wanted something to cook with, I would’ve signed up for a box catered to that (which I’m thinking about doing eventually). I just am looking for something to quick pop in my mouth NOW (get in mah belly!). However, it’s pretty rare that Love with Food puts seasonings in their boxes and I do cook a lot of chicken AND I love Lemon and Rosemary, so this is okay for this month :).
Ziggy Marley Organics Hemp Rules Roasted Hemp Seeds– I received these in a box from Bestowed awhile back. You can sprinkle them on salads.
Amazing Grass: Green Superfood– This packet suggests adding it into almond milk for a breakfast smoothie. I think I’ll try that!
Shotwell Candy Co: 5 Spice Caramels– These were a different-tasting caramel chew. The caramel is mixed with chocolate and is seasoned with cinnamon, star anise, anise seed, ginger and clove. They were pretty unique and delicious.
Maruso Ghost Soy Sauce– Soy sauce is one of those condiments that I constantly have like 5 bottles on-hand because I forget if I’ve run out of it or not, so I just pick up another. And then I get a packet of it in my snack box… ahhh! Soy sauce taking over my house!!!! Oh, well, it will all get used :). I’m kind of curious about this one, though because it’s made with Ghost Chili Powder.
Mandy’s Rich Chocolate Cookie Thins– I could see myself accidentally eating a ton of these like they were popcorn or something. They’re very thin and the chocolate taste is not overbearingly rich.
Love with Food: Churro Kettle Corn– Again, Love with Food launched another snack themselves. Last month we got delicious kettle roasted peanuts. I think I prefer the nuts, but this popcorn was pretty good.
Conclusion (Free Box Offer)!
This actually was my first Love with Food box that I felt a little *womp womp* let down on. I think because there were more condiments and seasonings than normal and I had the munchies. However, every other month has been really satisfying to me which is why I’m not really complaining too much.
