July 2014 Bestowed Info Booklet

Bestowed is curated by Heather Bauer who is a celebrity nutritionist and each month, like most subscription boxes, you receive an information sheet that lists the products. Bestowed‘s info card is actually more like a pamphlet that, additionally, offers tips about each product.

Heather wrote inside of July’s pamphlet that she designed this box to include items to take with subscribers wherever we decide to go during this summer month.

Energy Fruits

Energy Fruits

Energy Fruits: Mango– I’ve never actually tried one of these fruit squeezy things before.  I’ve bought them for my kids, but decided since there’s only ONE of these, I’d have to test this all on my own!  It was really good. It had crushed fruit… not just a fruit “sauce” which doesn’t really appeal to me.  I threw it in the freezer for a few before trying it out and it was really refreshing on this hot July day. It wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet either since it’s free of sugar. Just tasted like natural fruit.

Kelapo Extra Virgin Coconut oil

Kelapo Extra Virgin Coconut oil

Kelapo Extra Virgin Coconut Oil– There are so many uses for coconut oil– from cooking to skincare and everything in between. It really is one of my favorite things, so this will be added to my coconut oil stash!

Saffron Road Crunchy Chickpeas

Saffron Road Crunchy Chickpeas

Saffron Road Crunchy Wasabi Chickpeas– Aww, yeah!  I love Wasabi Chicpeas!  I’ve never tried this brand until now and it’s awesome.  This bag is going to last me ages!

Zevia Ginger Ale

Zevia Ginger Ale

Zevia Ginger Ale– This is probably the best Ginger Ale I’ve even tasted. I’m not a huge Ginger Ale connoisseur, so I’ve only tasted the major name brands a couple of times, but this actually has real ginger and real citrus in it and I can totally tell. It’s really quite refreshing with natural flavoring and no HFCS.

Zing Bar

Zing Bar

Zing Bar– This was a vegan fudgey brownie bar and it really hit my sweet spot! It was super soft and didn’t taste healthy like some healthy chocolate snacks do, even though this totally is a healthy alternative to a regular brownie. I am full from it, but I’m going to want anotha!!!

Runa Focused Energy Tea

Runa Focused Energy Tea

Runa Focused Energy Cinnamon-Lemongrass Tea– This tea wasn’t listed on the info booklet, but was thrown in as a bonus sample. My sister Monica is a bigger tea-drinker than me, so my tea loot usually automatically goes to her!

aquatowel

aquatowel

Aquatowel– This is a personal wet-towel for hands or body that stays wet for up to 30 minutes. Again, this was an extra sample that wasn’t listed on the booklet.

I would love to try out Energy Fruits Mango! I have tried out my daughter’s apple sauce before and it was good so I know this one would be even better! #ProductReviewParty

I’ve never heard of this box before. I like the fact that it offers healthy foods to try. I’m a tea drinker too, so that would have been a treat for me.
