Shopping online these days is practically a necessity–well, for me it is, anyway. I have to say, aside from groceries, I probably do a split 50/50 for the amount of shopping I do in person vs. online.
I use cash-back websites quite frequently when I shop online (well, when I remember to!), but I recently found out about a company called iGive which is a shopping plug-in with a twist: The cash-back amount is donated to a charity of your choice.
This is how it works: (It’s really simple)
1) Go to the iGive website and click the “Choose Cause” button:
2) Select your state:
3) Browse to find the charity you wish to support OR you can type in your favorite charity to see if it’s listed.
4) Then you will be prompted to download a button for your browser. Whenever you go shopping at one of the stores you already were planning to online, iGive will give a percentage of the purchase price to your charity at no additional cost to you!
If you’re interested in supporting a good cause while shopping like you normally do online, click here to get the free iGive plug-in!
