Hormel Extended Family Blogger Program June 2015

We love Hormel! Now that school’s out, I had a little buddy helping me unpack the cooler when it arrived while her older sister was at STEM classes :)

I always like to mention that I feel really grateful to have been part of the Hormel Extended Family Blogger Program for 2 cycles now. As a Hormel blogging ambassador, I receive Hormel products every month to cook with, eat, share, and write about. It’s always fun to see what surprises are in the cooler every month and to dream up ways to be creative with what’s inside.  (To read my past recipes and unboxings, you can go here)

Here’s the run-down of all the recipes I’ve cooked so far since I’ve been a blogging ambassador with Hormel:

Skippy Natural Singles Raise your hand if you’re surprised I got peanut butter!

jennifer lawrenceYes, I know!  It’s usually the first item I post, but we love peanut butter and it’s something we always use every month, so we’re always glad to see it!  These individual cups are great for dipping apples.

Hormel snackers Spinach and Artichoke Dip

Hormel Snackers Spinach and Artichoke Dip

Hormel Snackers Spinach and Artichoke Dip This nearly didn’t make it to the shoot because I almost ate it straight from pulling it from the cooler!  I’m actually happy the girls don’t care for spinach/artichoke dip because that means more for me. 😉

Hormel Nautral Choice Honey Deli Ham

Hormel Nautral Choice Honey Deli Ham

Hormel Nautral Choice Honey Deli Ham  This is really good lunch meat! I notice with many different kinds of lunch meat, after eating, I feel so thirsty because of how salty it tastes.  It’s not the case with this brand and the taste is great.

Lloyds Pulled Pork

Lloyds Pulled Pork

Lloyds Pulled Pork This is something we’ve never received in a cooler before.  This could be something that we use for an easy summer meal.

Hormel Homestyle Mashed Potatoes

Hormel Homestyle Mashed Potatoes Something else that I can pair together with a quick entree and veggie for an easy dinner since we’re so busy this summer!

So, this was June’s box!  What do you think?  As I’m typing this up, I have to admit that the spinach artichoke dip has been long gone by now!

As always, recipe ideas and suggestions for Hormel ingredients (including any not pictured) are welcome!
