Oh, hello July! It’s almost over, actually, so I need to get a move-on with showcasing what we received in our July Hormel box this month!
First of all, I wanted to mention that I feel really grateful to have been part of the Hormel Extended Family Blogger Program for a full year now!
As a Hormel blogging ambassador, I receive Hormel products every month to cook with, eat, share, and write about. It’s always fun to see what surprises are in the cooler every month and to dream up ways to be creative with what’s inside. (To read my past recipes and unboxings, you can go here)

July Cooler Contents:
Chi-Chi’s Flour Tortillas– I realized that I ALWAYS start my Hormel posts with peanut butter, so I thought I’d get a little CrAzY and shake things up this month! Flour Tortillas! These are always something we can use because they’re so versatile– whether we’re doing Mexican or having wraps.
Hormel Hot Chili– I’m thinking these would be good in a cheesy dip. My mind keeps heading to “snack-land” lately with these recipes, but maybe because I’ve been attending a few baseball games this summer and eating lots of nachos.
Hormel Pepperoni– Hormel Pepperoni has become one of my favorite snacks. It’s something you can easily reach for that’s filling and low carb and tastes great. I usually try to plan recipes for it but end up snacking it right out of the bag!
Hormel Snackers: Spinach and Artichoke Dip– I think these snackers would be nice to pack in a lunch or a snack compartment if you’re working a long day at an office. They don’t need to be refrigerated initially, so they can just “keep” inside a drawer.
Extra Crunchy Skippy Peanut Butter– Here’s the peanut butter! But it’s crunchy peanut butter this time! I never buy crunchy peanut butter. Like ever. So, I am curious what my kids will think of it. They notice if *anything* is different food-wise. Nothing much gets past them!
So this was July’s box! I know it’s late in the month to be posting and now my family will FINALLY be glad I’m letting them dig into everything!
As always, recipe ideas and suggestions for Hormel ingredients (including any not pictured) are welcome!
