It’s been a few months since I’ve reviewed Love with Food, so I was excited once again to dive in and do this thing! As always, I shared the snacks with my girls, so they are my review companions :).
**Stay tuned because at the bottom, I will tell you how to get May’s box for free without a coupon code!**
For every box sold, Love with Food donates a meal to several food banks to help combat childhood hunger, such as the Feeding America Network and Share Our Strength – No Kid Hungry.
Each month, Love with Food subscribers receive a box curated to a specific theme usually with 8 or more snacks. The April box theme this month was “Starry Nights”. The information pamphlet says the theme’s purpose is so we’ll take a snack out to the porch and enjoy the quiet night.
Love with Food has a reward point system. One way you can receive reward points is to review the snacks you received in your monthly box. You can also earn points by referring your friends to join and then you can redeem your points to purchase snacks in the Love with Food website shop.
Shortbread by Walkers– Ah! This is my first repeat! I don’t think this is supposed to happen, but I received this exact product last year in a Love with Food box. The girls liked it. I’m not too big on shortbread, but this has never happened before, so I’m not going to raise a stink about it.
Vintage Italian Garlic Olive Oil Pasta Chips– I’ve had these Pasta Chips in a different flavor and really enjoyed them. This is a nice-sized bag and these were very garlic-y and good!
Mighty Leaf Tea Green Tea Tropical– I’m not a tea drinker, so will put it in the stash for my tea-drinking sister.
YumEarth Sour Beans– The girls and I didn’t find these very sour and were a little disappointed! They tasted okay if you’re craving sweets, but we thought there’d be a *POW* of flavor.
Luna Lemon Zest Mini– Box fave! This was really good! Not too sweet and rich/not too sour! I was thinking about redeeming some of my Love with Food points for it on the site, but I noticed it’s not listed for sale on there. I’m going to have to scout this out at the store for sure.
Back to Nature Graham Sticks– The girls enjoyed these and there were a lot that came in this bag to share!
Wild Garden Hummus Snack Pack Ziyad– This was what I was most excited about. I love chips and spread and I love hummus! I found this hummus to be okay, but the consistency was a little so-so for me and the flavor wasn’t as good as I had hoped. I feel really picky for saying so, though because I was really excited over seeing this in the box the most!
One more thing I got?
A nifty Love with Food Magnet! To which I promptly added to the collection on my fridge:
Conclusion (Free Box Offer)!
This probably wasn’t my favorite Love with Food box due to several reasons listed above, but the fact that it’s a variety of items (not heavy on seasonings or baked goods, etc) leaves me content with it. The fact that it’s a surprise every month prepares me for the fact that I’m not always going to love EVERYTHING! And that’s okay.
At the end of the month subscription, if you wish to cancel, you will need to go on the site to do so, but you may find it beneficial to keep it! Subscriptions for the tasting sized box are only $10/month + $2 shipping which is really, in my opinion, a great price point for treating yourself and/or your family.
Are you a Love with Food subscriber? What was your box fave?
